Research Interest:
The complex process by which the Air Force determines its needs and chooses solutions to fulfill those needs. While there is an established requirements generation process (the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems, or JCIDS), it is apparent that certain defining decisions are made prior to beginning that process, or outside of it. By understanding those inputs that are not part of the formal process the overall results can be improved.
