The MIT campus was host to another engaging LAI Lean Academy class on January 19-21, 2011. The audience consisted of 26 MIT graduate and undergraduate students. Options for an enterprise track as well as a newly updated healthcare track were offered. Results showed that the class participants surpassed level 2 readiness for lean transformation, and the simulation ratings were among the highest seen for this course. The course was taught by:
- LAI Executive Director, Dick Lewis,
- MIT Asst Professor, Annalisa Weigel,
- MIT Professor Emeritus, Earll Murman, and
- Associate EdNet Director, Dr. Hugh McManus.
Many thanks to all who helped to make this class such a huge success, including New Balance Shoe and U Mass Memorial Medical Group.
