The LAI Educational Network (EdNet) is a group of universities and
colleges working together and with LAI industry and government members
to develop and deploy curriculum based on lean and Six Sigma research
and practical knowledge.
Formed in 2002, the EdNet currently includes more than 35 member schools who have signed the EdNet No-Cost Collaborative Agreement. Faculty from these schools, together with LAI members , have developed and offered a three or five day LAI Lean Academy™ course to more than 1000 students and 50 instructors to date.
The EdNet has several events each year, including an annual meeting to share knowledge and best practices. New instructors are encouraged to attend the annual summer LAI Lean Academy™ through MIT's Professional Institute.
